Back to School Giveaway
In September 2022 ISK with the help of all our donors organized a back-to-school giveaway to encourage and promote education to the low-income elementary school children. Backpacks, stationery and writing materials, among other things, were given away to the makoko children.
We used the opportunity to initiate 1-on-1 discussions with the children, learn about their various interests and accentuate the vital role that an education could play towards helping them attain these aspirations. ISK noticed the children’s learning environment is not conducive [see photos] for the children hence we need your support in building a better school for these children.
Low Income School Feeding
The children in the slum of makoko are sent to school daily without food. Over the years, ISK has successfully fed over 2000 children in different elementary schools and their communities. Giving them basic nutrients to grow and helping them focus more on education. We found an Increase in school attendance, academic excellence and reduction in hunger related illness. The best part is, 100% of your donation goes to buy food, basic needs and operational cost for the children. You can give knowing your whole donation will go to ending child hunger.
