Hope in Every Pulse: Mowe Medical Outreach

Access to healthcare is still a luxury in many parts of Nigeria. In Mowe, ISK stepped in to change that narrative.

In January 2025, ISK organized a life-saving medical outreach program in Mowe, Ogun State, offering free medical checkups, treatment, medication, and counseling to over 400 community members.

With volunteer doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals on-site, we were able to detect early-stage illnesses and educate families on disease prevention, maternal care, and nutrition.

Children were dewormed, pregnant women received free antenatal support, and elderly patients were given essential blood pressure and diabetes screenings.

“I’ve never seen this level of kindness from strangers,” shared one local resident.

The Mowe outreach reaffirmed our mission to prioritize health as a basic human right and reminded us that a healthy woman builds a healthy home — and ultimately, a healthy nation.
